Empanadas

Ingredients
  • 3 ½ cups of flour
  • 1 ¾ sticks of butter
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of milk
Instructions
  1. Pulse butter with flour add egg, salt and sugar.
  2. Add milk first while mixing
  3. Slowly add water until all mixed
  4. Add filling, fold closed and cut a slit in the top
  5. Coat with egg wash
  6. Bake at 375° for 20 mins. until golden brown
