Chaffle | Original

  • 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese or your fav cheese but mozzarella works for sweet or savory
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp of Almond flour


  1. Get a bowl, scramble the two eggs until they are all mixed up, then add the 1/2 cup of mozzarella, and 1.5 tbsp of almond flour.
  2. Once all combined and your dash (4inch) waffle maker is all warmed up
  3. Add some cooking spray to dash if you’d like and then put 3 tablespoons of the mix in the dash and close. Let it cook for 4 mins and then voila you have some yummy Chaffles!

Recipe Notes

This recipe came about due to my need for bread! Ok maybe not a need as much as a longing, carbs o carbs how I miss thee.

Since I couldn’t have bread I decided this was the best bet! Using the little dash waffle maker (seen here) you get the fluffy happy feeling of semi-bread! This is not the traditional Chaffle of 1/2 cup of cheese and one egg, because I felt it was too eggy, so I wanted to throw a little more substance to make them less eggy :)

Use these for sandwiches, by them selves with some butter, add some sugar free whip cream and make a waffle with your fav no sugar syrup!

These basic Chaffles are amazing and I hope you enjoy them!
