Homemade Pizza Dough

  • Yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar


  1. Add yeast and sugar to warm water, stir together then let sit until the top foams
  2. Combine flour and yeast water mixture a little at a time until incorporated
  3. Knead by hand (or mixer) for about 5 minutes
  4. Cover with plastic and let sit for about an hour
  5. Roll out and cut into smaller dough balls (depending on the size of final pizza crusts)
  6. Then roll into your desired pizza size
  7. Par bake at 425° for 6 minutes
  8. Add sauce and toppings then finish in the over at 325° for 5-7 minutes
