Quick way to make delicious carne asada at home

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 beer any beer you like
  • 2-4 tbsp Homemade adobo (see recipes for my recipe) I don't really measure this I use my heart and shake it on lol
  • 2 lbs Flank Steak
  • 1 tsp extra cumin if you'd like Optional
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder If you want spice, but I usually pair with hot sauce or a spicy jalapeño
  1. Cut your steak to even thickness on all pieces

  2. Add to a bowl with your beer and olive oil and then add your adobo and additional spices if you'd like.

  3. Let sit for 20 mins to 2 hours before cooking (great time to make your rice, tortillas and beans)

  4. Get a hot grill ready, griddle, or pan and sear the steak for 5-7 mins on each side depending on your level of doneness you prefer and the thickness of your steak.

  5. Slice it up against the grain and enjoy!
